Inlays and onlays are used to restore strength and appearance to teeth that have been damaged by trauma or decay. Inlays and onlays are ideal for back teeth in instances where dental fillings would not provide sufficient strength. They are also a more conservative option than dental crowns for the protection of teeth that have been worn down or otherwise compromised.
