THE PORCELAIN VENEERS PROCESS
Porcelain veneers are incredibly thin but do require minor tooth preparation for durability and to fit seamlessly. The process takes 2 appointments and can be completed in less than 14 days. At the first appointment, a minimal amount of tooth structure is removed/prepped from the tooth. Following the preparation, an impression will be taken and you will be fitted with temporary veneers. At your second appointment, your veneers will be tried in for your approval and will then be permanently bonded in place.
The impression of your teeth will be sent to our trusted dental lab partners who will carefully craft your porcelain veneers to our exact specifications. Once your customized porcelain veneers are ready, you will return to our office to have them placed. The entire process typically takes two to three weeks.
Maintenance and the long term success of your porcelain veneers involves thorough oral hygiene home care, professional cleanings and a night guard appliance may be recommended to protect your veneers.
